Our story
Tyler Boren founded Magnolia Family Insurance in Booneville, MS in January 2025. The idea was simple: people who need help with Medicare need an unhurried conversation with a licensed insurance agent who lives in the same community they do.
Since then the agency has grown to serve individuals and families across eight states, while keeping the same local office and the same approach — explain the options plainly, answer the phone, and stay available long after enrollment paperwork is done – for life.

Tyler Boren is the founder and CEO of Magnolia Family Insurance, a licensed insurance agent, and a veteran. Tyler grew up in Booneville, MS which gives him deep insight into the needs of the local community.
Before opening the agency in Booneville, Tyler served in the Mississippi Army National Guard as well as other public servant roles — work built on showing up, communicating clearly, and being accountable to the people you serve.
He started Magnolia Family Insurance because individuals approaching Medicare deserve a clear, unhurried conversation with a licensed insurance agent and advisor who lives in the same community they do. Today he leads a team serving individuals and families across eight states, with the same approach — explain the options plainly, answer the phone, educate, and stay available long after enrollment paperwork is complete – for life.
